Thankful for Volunteers!
March 31st, 2012
Summer Camp is about to kick off in 2 months and preparations are well underway thanks to so many individual and group efforts who believe in our mission to serve individuals with disabilities! Yesterday, we were thankful for Grand Valley State University's Student Senate for coming out to do some much needed interior painting in our programming offices. Today, we are so grateful that the Marne Lions Club donated two handmade accessible picnic tables! These are much needed and will be used frequently during the summer! We are also appreciative to the AOII sorority and DU faternity from Grand Valley State University for donating their time and energy today to help us spring clean! With over 80 students out at Camp today, they were able to paint doors, wash all building windows as well as many other tasks that needed to get done before the summer.
Many, many thanks to the GVSU Student Senate, Marne Lions Club, AOII sorority and DU faternity for all their support and for helping us make our upcoming 60th summer the best one yet!
Don't forget to follow us on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ILoveITC to keep up to date on what is happening at Camp. Check out the photos of today's amazing volunteers and supporters!
